PNTC-MTAC is headquartered in the walled city of Intramuros, the oldest district and the historical core of Manila. Aside from its site in Intramuros, Manila, PNTC-MTAC also has a training compound in Tanza, Cavite.

PNTC-MTAC is part of the PNTC Colleges Group, which offers Senior High School and Higher Education programs through its business and maritime school in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

Our Services

STCW TRAINING

PNTC-MTAC offers basic and advanced training courses mandated under the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and approved by the Philippine Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA).

IN-HOUSE TRAINING

At the request of companies, PNTC-MTAC develops and offers in-house training courses that are not mandatory under international law but are highly useful in vessel operations.

PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT

PNTC-MTAC is a MARINA-accredited Assessment Center (AC) for ratings under Regulations II/4, III/4, II/5, and III/5 of the STCW Convention.

Sites & Facilities

Intramuros, Manila

Face-to-face training classes and simulator-based practical assessments are conducted at the Maritime Training and Assessment Center in Intramuros, Manila that features 66 classrooms, a full-mission bridge simulator with 270° visualization, and an engine room simulator with 3D virtual walkthrough system.

Tanza, Cavite

Spanning 3.2 hectares, the Tanza Training Facility is designed specifically for the practicum and training activities of our client seafarers and students. The Facility is also the site of the Merchant Marine Regimental Program (MMRP), a student program that aims to develop discipline, leadership, and competence in our maritime students.
