Through our very own PNTC Colleges – Maritime Training Center, our students undergo the following trainings pursuant to the 1978 Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping Convention (STCW) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Memorandum Order Series of 2015.

- 4 Section A-VI/1-4 Personal Safety and Social Responsibility
- 5 Section A-VI/2-1 Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other
than Fast Rescue Boats - 6 Section A-VI/3 Advanced Fire Fighting

- 8 Section A-VI/6-1 Competence in Security Awareness
- 9 Section A-VI/6-2 Minimum standard of competence for seafarers with
designated security duties
